The Role

 

Gradiant is seeking a commercially driven Regional Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy and execution in support of regional growth. This role sits at the intersection of sales, technology, and brand, shaping how Gradiant is positioned, understood, and selected by customers in the region. You will partner closely with the Regional Managing Director and business leaders to drive pipeline, strengthen market presence, and support strategic accounts. The role reports directly to the Regional Managing Director, with a dotted line to the Global Head of Marketing to ensure alignment with global brand, messaging, and campaigns.

 

Responsibilities

 

Regional Strategy & Market Positioning

  • Own and execute the regional marketing strategy aligned with business priorities and growth targets
  • Translate global brand and portfolio into locally relevant, high-impact positioning
  • Identify priority industries, accounts, and opportunities to focus marketing investment
  • Build competitive intelligence and market insights to inform commercial strategy

 

Demand Generation & Sales Enablement

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing programs that drive qualified pipeline and revenue
  • Partner with sales and technical teams to support key pursuits, proposals, and customer engagements
  • Create high-impact sales collateral including case studies, presentations, and technical narratives
  • Support account-based marketing for strategic customers and priority sectors

 

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Develop compelling, technically grounded content that positions Gradiant as a leader in advanced water & wastewater solutions
  • Create regional case studies, success stories, and customer references
  • Feed high-quality content into the global marketing team for amplification across other regions, and digital and social channels
  • Support executive visibility through speaking opportunities, media, and industry platforms
  • Build and execute PR strategies to strengthen Gradiant's brand visibility and credibility across Europe.
  • Manage relationships with regional and social media, industry publications, and key influencers

 

Events & Industry Engagement

  • Lead regional tradeshow and event strategy and execution
  • Maximize ROI from events through pre-, during-, and post-event engagement
  • Build relationships with industry associations, partners, and key stakeholders

 

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the bridge between regional business teams and global marketing
  • Ensure consistency in brand, messaging, and quality across all touchpoints
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and R&D teams to align market needs with innovation priorities

 

Qualifications

 

  • 8–12+ years of B2B marketing experience in industrial, infrastructure, energy, water, or technology sectors
  • Preferred background in engineering, environmental science, chemistry, or a related technical field
  • Strong preference for experience in the water and wastewater industry or closely related sectors
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience supporting sales and driving revenue impact
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, differentiated value propositions
  • Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization
  • Good to very good knowledge of German and English
  • Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to operate with autonomy in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as required approx. 3 days per week. Regular visits to our UK, Italian and German offices will be needed as well as to the respective events within Europe
