Responsibilities :
A. Plant Operations & Process Management
- Ensure plant operation within design intent and permissible operating limits (hydraulic loading, organic load, feed variability).
- Monitor and control: Biological systems (ASP, MBR, MBBR, SBR), ETP/STP units, Advanced treatment (UF/RO/ZLD/ATFD)
- Ensure consistent compliance with discharge/reuse norms and contractual guarantees.
- Drive process stabilization and optimization, including: Reduction in chemical consumption, Energy efficiency improvement, Sludge minimization and handling optimization
- Assess impact of feed variability and upstream disturbances on downstream performance.
- Ensure safe, continuous, and optimized operation of treatment systems within the defined design basis, operating envelope, and contractual KPIs.
- Deliver integrated O&M management, covering process control, maintenance strategy, manpower deployment, statutory compliance, and client interface.
B. Maintenance & Asset Management
- Implement structured preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
- Ensure operational readiness of: Mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems (PLC/SCADA)
- Maintain Asset registers, maintenance logs, failure/root cause analysis (RCA) reports
- Define and control critical spares philosophy (min-max levels, lead time-based stocking).
- Improve MTBF/MTTR performance metrics.
C. Contractual & Commercial Compliance
- Ensure adherence to contract scope, SLAs, KPIs, and performance guarantees.
- Review and certify: Monthly O&M invoices, Chemical consumption and reconciliation statements, Energy consumption and efficiency reports
- Track and document: Scope deviations, variation orders, change requests, and claims
- Ensure audit-ready documentation and traceability for client and third-party verification.
D. Manpower & Administration
- Lead and manage multi-disciplinary site teams (operations, maintenance, lab).
- Ensure Optimum manpower deployment and shift management, Compliance with labour laws (PF, ESIC, statutory registers)
- Conduct Technical training, SOP adherence, and safety awareness programs
- Drive performance accountability and discipline at site level
E. Procurement & Inventory Coordination
- Ensure advance planning and uninterrupted availability of Chemicals, consumables, and critical spares
- Validate material quality, consumption norms, and reconciliation
- Maintain inventory control systems to avoid overstocking or stock-outs.
F. Statutory, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with CPCB/SPCB norms, Consent conditions, environmental regulations
- Maintain Logbooks, lab analysis reports, calibration certificates
- Lead Safety audits, risk assessments, incident investigation, and closure
- Ensure adherence to EHS protocols and zero-incident culture
G. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare Daily/weekly/monthly performance reports
- Deviation analysis and corrective action reports
- Maintain MIS dashboards, KPI tracking, and trend analysis
- Ensure data integrity, validation, and audit traceability
H. Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as single point of contact (SPOC) for client at site.
- Lead Review meetings, performance discussions, and improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with Internal engineering, procurement, and management teams
- Ensure proactive communication of risks, deviations, and improvement plans.
Requirements:
- B.E./B.Tech in Chemical / Environmental / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation
- 5–12 years in O&M of ETP/STP/WTP/RO/ZLD systems
- Exposure to industrial operations (Pharma, Semiconductor, Chemical, Power) preferred
- Strong knowledge of Biological & physico-chemical treatment, Membrane systems and ZLD processes, Process troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Familiar with PLC/SCADA systems, Water chemistry and lab analysis, Statutory compliance frameworks
- Contract administration and commercial awareness; Vendor, Inventory, and cost control management; Data-driven reporting and analysis
- Work Location - Dholera, Sanand and across site locations in India.
