Role Overview :
Seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Designer with strong expertise in water treatment plant (WTP), effluent treatment plant (ETP), zero liquid discharge (ZLD), and desalination systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing both conceptual and detailed design drawings, ensuring seamless integration across disciplines, and delivering high-quality engineering outputs.
Responsibilities :

Develop electrical and instrumentation designs for WTP/ETP/ZLD/Desal projects.

Interpret and prepare P&IDs related to E&I discipline.

Prepare SLD diagrams, earthing layouts, lighting layouts, and related supports.

Design MCC/PLC room layouts and transformer equipment layouts.

Create instrument hookup drawings with BOM.

Plan and design cable tray routing and supports for electrical/instrumentation systems.

Generate cable routing in AutoCAD Plant 3D (on skid/off skid) considering junction box segregation and panel locations.

Develop 3D models and ensure clash-free coordination with mechanical, civil, piping, and process teams.

Prepare equipment layouts, 2D layouts, MTOs, and review piping/civil drawings.

Review and approve 3D models, drawings, and documents from third-party design companies.

Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
Requirements :
-
3 to 7 years experience in E&I design for water treatment plants.

Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation specifications.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and related design tools.

Ability to produce both conceptual and detailed design drawings.

Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
