Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our Global Engineering Center team to execute International and Local projects in India. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of relevant experience, with a preference for those who have worked in an EPC environment, international project experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural design for water and wastewater facilities (skids/modules, pipe supports, pipe racks, etc.).
- Prepare drawings and organize design reviews.
- Review project specifications, manufacturer submittals, local standards, and codes.
- Ensure designs comply with local rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Prepare drawings for permits and construction.
- Analyze structural designs and recommend modifications.
- Produce load, pressure, stress, and lifting analyses.
- Prepare detailed structural calculations and element designs.
- Provide technical advice on construction materials and installation methods.
- Submit designs to relevant authorities and follow up for approvals.
- Liaise with consultants, architects, contractors, and suppliers to resolve project issues.
- Guide designers in preparing structural drawings.
- Coordinate requirements with other engineering disciplines.
- Collaborate closely with the Technical Project Manager and project team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in water and wastewater facilities or related industrial fields (preferred).
- Proficiency in steel structures.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in engineering software such as Staad Pro, AutoCAD, Tekla, etc.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
