Detail-oriented and organized Store Assistant to support daily warehouse and inventory operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining materials while ensuring accurate stock records and efficient store management. The candidate must have prior experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Ensure proper storage and identification of materials in designated locations.
- Issue materials to production and other departments as per approved requests.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/software systems and manual registers.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and assist in inventory audits.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety standards within the store and warehouse areas.
- Label, organize, and arrange materials for easy identification and retrieval.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, and Logistics teams for smooth material flow.
- Maintain documentation related to goods receipts, material issues, transfers, and returns.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in stores, warehouse, or inventory management, preferably within a manufacturing industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent with computer literacy.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices and warehouse operations.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar inventory management software is an advantage.
- Good understanding of stock management, material handling, and storage procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of inventory KPIs and stock reconciliation processes.
