Job overview:

 

The accountant provides support to the Finance department by assisting with various financial tasks and maintaining accurate financial records overlooking SEA-based entities under the portfolio. He/She will work with the Operations Controller (SEA), to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Work alongside the accounting team to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, (Including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end reporting requirements (Journals/Recons/Group reporting).)
  • Knowledge of project reporting and project accounting to support the preparation and delivery of monthly project reports. Assist the Finance Manager with project tracking and reporting.
  • Handle all AR-related matters (Invoicing/ Receipts), Handle all Inter Co Activities (Invoicing/ Loans / Recharges), SBLC and BG Issuance / Renewals, Assist and be part of the Statutory audits and liaise with respective auditors to ensure a smooth auditing process and finalisation, Ensure all statutory and compliance matters are handled (Audit, Tax, AR Filing etc)
  • Provide administrative support for the local entities in streamlining and internal controls
  • Ensure all monthly group reporting is done for entities under the portfolio.
  • Any other duties/tasks assigned by supervisors and providing support to the team.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting /Commerce / ACCA / CA Singapore
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance-related role. Experience in External Audit would be an added advantage.
  • SAP S4 Hana proficient, Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
