Senior Engineer / Asst Manager – Piping Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Must be capable of providing conceptual as well as detailed design drawings of WTP/WWTP/ETP/STP/Desal treatment plant piping.
- Capable of independently producing 2D piping layout, isometrics, MTOs, bill of material, pipe support drawings, Pipe rack design input, Civil and vendor drawing reviews.
- Independently finalize the optimum pipe routing based on the project requirement and complete the piping plan, isometric and BOM in working with Draftsman.
- Develop 3D Models and ensure clash-free models in coordination with all other discipline requirements.
- Exposure to piping 3D design review is essential.
- Should be familiar with the preparation of shop drawings for fabrication of piping and structural.
- Must be familiar with relevant design & ASME, IS, DIN, and BS codes.
- Ensuring engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities etc.
- Execution of assigned work per applicable contract procedures and client and project standards.
- Ensure that the inter-discipline aspects of the design and deliverables are addressed.
Requirements:
- A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 9 years related experience in Piping system Knowledge and expert in WTP, STP, ETP,DM-RO
- Piping Knowledge and AutoCAD Plant 3D / Revit /Autodesk Navis Manager software
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
