Function:  Engineering
  1. Monitoring, operation & maintenance of Waste Water Treatment Systems.
  2. Maintain good relationship with client and satisfy operation requirement whenever is necessary even during weekend and holidays.
  3. Representing Sigma for all DOE related matters.
  4. Preparing operator log sheet, including chemical consumption, parameter analysis, service report, whichever necessary to maintain the performance of the WWTP.
  5. Responsible to operate the plant following Standard Operating Procedure (S.O.P.) and the performance at optimum level.
  6. Maintain all site records, weather log, site progress report, controlling man power at site, arrange resources as necessary and not limited to any stated above.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Civil, or equivalent discipline).
  • Sound understanding of wastewater treatment processes, plant operation, and environmental compliance.
  • Knowledge of DOE regulations and reporting procedures is preferred.
  • Strong technical and analytical abilities for plant operation and troubleshooting.
  • Good leadership and organizational skills to manage on-site manpower and resources.
  • Proficiency in preparing operational documents such as log sheets, reports, and parameter analyses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain client relationships.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Malay.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with site-specific health and safety procedures.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in wastewater or water treatment plant operation and maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with equipment maintenance, chemical management, and process optimization.
  • Experience in preparing DOE-related documentation and reports.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, including during weekends or public holidays when necessary.
