Technicians are responsible for the hands-on technical tasks, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation necessary to ensure the reliable and make sure final discharge of waste water treatment system is within DoE Standard B. Their expertise and attention to detail contribute to the efficient operation of WWTP systems, ensure the day to day smooth functioning and optimal performance of the system

Shift : 7.00 am to 7.00 pm or 7.00 pm to 7.00 am

Qualifications and Requirements for Technician
▪ SPM / From 6 / Diploma graduation.
▪ Wide knowledge in technical waste water treatment management.
▪ Understand in Malay and English in both communication and writing.

Job Function and Nature
▪ Work under plant engineer and manager who is leading the operation team.
▪ Shall be capable of taking measurements and interpreting information / data to operate the plant in proper manner, risk handling and compliance to system specifications.
▪ Carry out preventive maintenance, repair and calibration on equipment and instruments in accordance with work’s schedules and instructions.
▪ Able to perform repair, troubleshoot and maintenance for equipment, e.g. pumps, analysers and etc.
▪ Conduct regular inspection on the systems per defined schedule to ensure effective operation.
▪ Heavily using SCADA System for operation and control.
▪ Conduct water sampling and samples analysis.
▪ Complete water quality and operational procedures, records/log sheets.
▪ Perform routine and non-routine tasks in accordance with the operational requirements of sites.
▪ Ensure that all chemicals are stored, handled, used safely and effectively.

▪ Perform other duties as requested by the Engineer / Manager.
▪ Administrative duties, e.g., site logs, daily task sheets, work orders, stock records, etc.
