Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Tank and Pressure Vessel design of WTP / ETP / STP / WWTP / Desal treatment plants.
  • Ensure seamless integration of these components into the overall treatment system.
  • Prepare / review design calculations and drawings.
  • Equipment Specification and Procurement / RFQ: Prepare technical specifications and work with vendors to fabricate the required tanks and pressure vessels.
  • Evaluate equipment proposals and make recommendations based on technical and budgetary considerations.
  • Confirm compliance with customer specifications.
  • Prepare / review Tank and pressure vessel datasheet.
  • Develop tank / Vessel internal datasheet and drawings.
  • Review and approve fabrication drawings and documents from Vendors.
  • Interface with Process, Civil / Structural, Piping, Instrumentation Engineers for complete engineering work.
  • Collaborate with Technical project manager to plan and execute projects on time and on budgeted manhours.
  • Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and progress assessments to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and modeling to assess the performance and reliability of mechanical systems. Address technical challenges and propose solutions to optimize system performance.
  • Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure that all mechanical designs and installations comply with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct quality control reviews to verify design integrity and safety.
  • Cost Estimation and Budget Management: Collaborate with the project team to prepare cost estimates for mechanical components and equipment. Identify cost-saving opportunities where applicable.
