Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Financing will be part of Gradiant’s Corporate Treasury team, supporting global capital-raising and financing initiatives. The role focuses on financial structuring, modeling, and execution across corporate debt, M&A financing, surety and bonding, and other non-dilutive capital instruments.

Working closely with senior treasury & corporate leadership, the candidate will assist in refinancing existing facilities, evaluating new funding opportunities, and managing relationships with international lenders and investors.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Capital raising & lender management  

  • Coordinate with lenders to raise new debt facilities across Group companies and subsidiaries.
  • Manage short-term investments, borrowing facilities, and credit lines.
  • Maintain loan tracking schedules, ensuring timely settlements, reconciliations, and compliance with loan terms.

Project Financing 

 

  • Lead project financing for Build-Own-Operate and SPV structures, including financial modelling and securing non-dilutive capital.

M&A Financing

  • Support financing for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments by structuring optimal capital solutions and coordinating with lenders and advisors.

Liquidity Management & Cash Planning

 

  • Develop and maintain global cash flow projection models to support working capital and liquidity planning.

 

  • Implement cash pooling strategies and treasury systems to optimize funding, minimize equity use, and enhance deposit income.
  • Oversee cash forecasting and ensure effective management of equity and debt across regions.

Compliance &Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with treasury policies, loan covenants, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead periodic reporting to lenders and support external audits and internal reviews.
  • Implement treasury technology solutions and maintain strong internal controls.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop treasury and finance team members.
  • Communicate funding strategies and liquidity positions to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Build and manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and external partners.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s in Finance or MBA preferred.
  • Professional certification such as CFA (Level II or higher), FRM, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in corporate finance or treasury functions.
  • Proven experience in debt and equity capital raising, financial modeling, and project or infrastructure financing (energy, power, or water sectors preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling tools (including VBA).
  • Strong analytical ability with deep understanding of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate financial and investment insights clearly and persuasively.
